Ok actually my previous post was meant for tuesday lar but dunno y it din get posted so i reposted it again........ok today's french lect was slightly better in the sense that i dun feel as stressed or pressurized as before....and most importantly we actually ended like 40 mins before time! Thats like so impossible for the past few lectures. I've begun to feel more confident in french but really it is afterall a language so u really need constant revision or else u'll just forget loads of stuff by the time u reach the next lecture.
HOWEVER, econs tutorial was a nightmare......1stly i dunno anyone in my class, 2ndly the teacher is a young female from a foreign country (shall not specify or divulge too many details here) I dunno whether its her accent or her being inexperienced but she obviously didnt come prepared cos she was reading the questions n figuring out the answer on the spot.............man wad a tutor............the worst thing is by the time tutorial ended i still dunno the answer for half the questions that she supposedly "discussed" n i was 2 lazy to approach her again cos she was surrounded by ppl n i din wan to wait..........i tink i'll flop my econs lar if this continues.......she's like worst than ivy lim can...........n tis is uni level! Not A lvls liao!!! How can liddat!!??
Ok getting a little too agitated..........nvm.........good news is i'll be getting my laptop tmr!!! My Lenovo T61!!! I dunno whether its like good or efficient or what not but i've seen quite a number of students using Lenovo so i tink it'll be decent. I just cant wait to finally lay my hands on my veri own laptop for the veri 1st time!!! I tink i'll buy a new speaker to go wif it wahaha! :)
Life's been hectic but at least i've finally got my timetable "stabalised" now.....no more clashes btw lectures n tutorials! Yay!!
All of a sudden i feel like going bck to jb.........just for a weekend..........cos its like including orientation week i've been here for like 5 weeks already.....my parents have been ovr to see me but its different as compared to when u're bck at home........

Well finally i've got internet connection ANYTIME i wan.........not that my laptop's here............i tink its still gonna take another 2 weeks or so..........man shud have just fucking paid the S$2000 ++ dollars and get it done wif lar............u just dunno wad life is in a uni w/o internet connection.....it basically means u're committing both social and academic suicide...........its THAT important.................w/o msn its ex to sms all ur frens to go down for dinner 2gether, get together for a badminton session, have lunch during weekends (though they most prob wub be going bck to their own sporean homes) or just go for supper outings...........and thats not the most sucky part (cos u do have ur hp even after all thats been said)..........the worst part is during the 1st 2 weeks when u have to bid for ur modules, register labs n tutorial groups, dwnload lecture slides n tutorials as well as do ur programming exercises............U SEE HOW FREAKING FUCKED UP MY LIFE WAS FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS? Everytime need com n internet must run to my fren's room n den so paiseh keep on disturbing him (though he says he doesnt mind) so i left my printer wif him sort of like a compensation so he can print any stuff he wans while i borrow his laptop frm time to time (actually its like MOST OF THE TIME). But eventually i really got so fucked up i just told my mum i really need a temporary laptop till mine arrives so my parents came over on monday nite to pass me my mum's laptop. Its a dell wan n its not veri good cos its like almost 5 years old now but as long as it gives me internet connection anything will do!

Ohhhhh i attended tis investment banking tok by this managing director of tis australien company and it was superb! The speaker was veri eloquent n humorous n he really noes how to tok! As is to be able to make such a seemingly dull subject so interesting n get ppl really excited abt the prospects of joining this industry is pretty amazing........!! I sure cant tok liddat........Its thru the tok dat once again i realise most big earners r really frm the biz industry.........n its veri true...........but i dun tink i can survive well in the biz industry................i just cant speak as well wif strangers, let alone prospective clients......n to persuade them to invest....? U mite as well ask me to join Mr, Universe.............and the worst thing u can have w/o while being in the biz industry is a network...............n my network is like singapore compared to the milky way......ya dats abt it.......or maybe its just bedok...............
Lessons coming up soon n interim vpu meeting tonite.......dunno how am i gonna survive all these............lets just take it step by step den........

Been trying to get used to sleeping at around 2 to 3 everyday.......so there goes my plan of getting up at 7 to go jogging to lose sum weight......not enuf sleep lar!!! Haih.....how to lose weight liddat........the ppl here really all fit wan lor.......got dat kind of pressure (or motivation, depending on how u see it) to lose weight n gain muscle too......but obviously easier said than done lar......

Ok i din expect things to turn out the way they were.......got saboed to be captain of guys touch rug for my block for the upcoming Inter-Block Games (IBG) and den ltr dunno how also became the interim level head for level 3 of block E....though its interim meaning we onli do for this 1 month the workload just came pilling upon me str8 away cos there's so many things to prepare for in such a short time!!!!!!!!!! Den tmr summore i volunteer for the Run NUS event have to wake up early summore!!!!!!!!
Ok i really think i may be getting a little bit over my head lor......but den lets just hope i can make it past this 1st month in 1 piece....already my 1st french lesson scared the hell out of me cos it just seem so tough....n the french textbks n workbks r entirely in french!!!! So lectures have really started.....man....really reminisence of jc days sia......cos i was nodding off during those 2 hour lectures just like last time.......haih......the EC1301 lecture was kinda boring but i guess things will pick up frm the next lecture onwards bah......maths n physics still ok though i realised i really really forgot all the basics lor so panic for like 1 milisecond be4 hunger took over all my senses........i like the food here at all the different canteens but its such a bitch trying to find an empty table during the lunch hour cos there's just sooooo many ppl!
Collected my student pass liao so another so-called admin issue settled! Den i'm just left wif settling my notebook loan on friday!! Yay!!! :)

Haih spen too much money in these 2 weeks liao....esp ytd.......bought a new bag, a new shoe bag, 2 new books as well as my groceries.........spent like nearly S$180.00 leh.........initially cudnt find a decent bag cos i wanted a slightly bigger n more spacious bag.......found an Adidas design which i liked but found it slightly too small for my taste....i like the size of those Nike n Le Cog Sportif shiny surface bags cos they're damn big n spacious but i dun like the shiny surface cos it feels like they're more for gals den guys, regardless of the fact dat loads of guys carry them on the street......nearly gave up when i passed by a shop selling bags in suntec n found an Adidas (again..) bag which has a nice design n a comfortable size....BUT IT COST ME s$90.00 BUCKS! I noe i cud have just bot a crumpler wif dat kind of money lar but really, ask urself, who doesnt have a crumpler nowadays...? They're flooding the streets...trust me i noe.....i saw countless designs n colours of different crumplers on my short shopping outing ytd......THEY'VE TAKEN OVER THE WORLD........ok at least singapore lar..... Part of the reason i wanted a new bag is bacause i wanted to buy sth u dun see dat often on the streets.....not the brand but the design lar.....so i chose dat bag despite the staggering price lor.....

Well so ytd was Rag Day............had to arrive at padang on friday nite 7.30 pm lar den wait for the whole nite plus tmr till it was 3.00 pm noon for the event to officially start..........1 word to describe it...........SHAG............
Cos most of us were involved wif the puppet performance so we din really need to help wif all the props moving n stuff..........so we basically just slipped off to citylink mall n den to suntec to shop around........n i realised dat all shops were having either clearance sale or end-of-season sale lar basket summore most sales end today so im going out soon to shop hahahaha! After dat we cudnt find our way to lao pa sat so took a bus n den had a nice supper cum dinner there! Went to golden mile tower to play pool till 3 am den finally went bck to padang....i was super tired by then but sleeping was torturous cos had to sleep on cardboards on the grass......wad an experience....barely had enuf sleep lor seriously....
Our rag performance wasnt so bad lar actually but eventually we lost to sheares (again) cos they really did a much better job both on the float as well as the dance. Congrats Aga!!! :) But den we also put in a lot of hard work n the whole experience is part n parcel of hall life so i really appreciate it 2!

Gonna be buying a new bag ( i noe sum of u have been reminding me dat its time to change my bag though its barely 2 years old...), a shoe bag probably, a pair of sneakers maybe, sum clothes as well as do my groceries......den after dat i'll come bck, unpack n maybe pop over to the central library n check things out.....

Ok finally i got sum of the probs solved for the stupid modular system.......asked for permission to take up a 6th module in econs and was granted so i went bidding for EC1301 which i tot was screwed up 2 cos the highest bid was 746 and lowest was 1 so i din noe how much to bid. In the end just put dwn 250 points.....den my fren told me since it was my last module i wanted i cud have just put dwn all 746 points i have cos if say the minimum point required to get that module turns out to be 100 rite i will be returned the balance of the points lor....den when i checked just now i realised i got the module liao and was returned 249 points.........so the module was worth 1 point onli afterall............diaoz..........
Gonna be setting off for Rag Day tonite liao.........n den its gonna last till tmr.........like 1.00 am or sth when everything has been cleared...........so its really REALLY gonna be tiring lar.............summore initially when the 6 of us frm the same OG were being asked to help out for 1 part we tot it was a slacker's job...........den now realised we're gonna be the puppet players lar which is like quite important lar cos we'll be playing like a wayang kulit kind of stuff.......n den they bot us black pants n singlets........my singlet was size L lar which was just slightly tight-fitting but still alright...........when i saw dat they bot me size XXL pants i was damn happy lar cos tot dat finally they din buy like size L kind of thing for me.........but den when i tried it on rite it was DAMN tight-fitting lar...............dunno how the stupid manufacturer define XXL lor it was like kinda small n tight lor.........bo pian hv to wear lar............haih...........

I wanna meet up wif the class lar so long din see em liao.........den everytime plan sth also cannot mk it in the end cos everyone's quite busy n tied up these days.........i really REALLY miss kuishimbo also lor n i dun mind putting on another 1 or 2 kg just for eating there lar.........i've really had enuf of those so-called great cheese pratas dat sells for S$2.20 per piece...........i cud get a wayyyyy decent piece of prata at a road side stall in JB for a fraction of dat price, esp considering dat its in sing dollars......
Went for Flag Day also on Wed n my grp was assigned to Bugis. Tiring day as usual but we gave up at ard 2 pm though we were permitted to collect till 10 pm.........we went for lunch at bugis junction n decided to watch The Simpsons as a whole OG but almost everyone slept at sum parts of the movie cos 1.) we were too tired (we got up at 5 am) and 2.) the movie sucks. The movie is really really damn boring lar.........all the jokes cant even be considered as lame....they're just old n boring so no one laughs...........a normal episode of simpsons wud fare better than the movie lor seriously......wasted my 7 bucks........maybe shud have watched the jay chow movie lor......ratings like still not bad.........
Rite now it kinda seems like im staying in a resort in spore cos no lessons yet n im just roaming ard NUS until its time for Rag...........so wierd............

Tiring day as usual but we gave up at ard 2 pm though we were permitted to collect till 10 pm.........we went for lunch at bugis junction n decided to watch The Simpsons as a whole OG but almost everyone slept at sum parts of the movie cos 1.) we were too tired (we got up at 5 am) and 2.) the movie sucks. The movie is really really damn boring lar.........all the jokes cant even be considered as lame....they're just old n boring so no one laughs...........a normal episode of simpsons wud fare better than the movie lor seriously......wasted my 7 bucks........maybe shud have watched the jay chow movie lor......ratings like still not bad.........
Rite now it kinda seems like im staying in a resort in spore cos no lessons yet n im just roaming ard NUS until its time for Rag...........so wierd............
Ok more pics from my Union Camp experience as well as summore pics frm TH! I am lightening up in mood cos theres been sum progress wif my timetable issue and i really really hope to get them all done by the end of tis week, for the veri obvious reason dat term starts next week lar......
It has been a terrific time and a total blast wif all the great ppl n their personalities thruout thesse camps and they certaintly left me wif a lot to think abt, esp how i carry myself n the veri obvious flaws in me 2........lets just hope these relationships will stand the trial of time! :)

Ok i actually intended to update everything about my time here at Temasek Hall but cos i'm freaking frustrated wif some admin stuff dat has got to do wif my timetable n modules im really in no mood to do that. I tink i'll just try n upload sumpics thats all........

Ok i have no time to update except now (using my fren's com and its like 2 am in the morning lar....summore tmr 5 am must wake up for flag....die....) cos i still dun have a laptop and the orientation has been hectic thruout the entire week so no time to use the coms at com lab 2...
Basically i was pretty reluctant to take part actively in the hall camp cos was quite sien of camp liao after union camp but im super SUPER glad i went thru everything (almost) cos it was all super worth it lar! U really REALLY wun noe just wat hall life means if u've nvr been thru it.....it trancends all nationality, size, figure, sex and language lor.........its really the bonds dat just amazes u......and the bonds as well as the activities r precisely the things u wan to be able to have n take away when u leave NUS at the end.
I dun tink i'll elaborate much here but i have loads of pics so i'll do a detailed recount next time i guess.
The CORS system is just fucking bugging me n im super frustrated by it lar..........a lot of admin stuff is just super annoying.........
Ohhh i ordered my laptop liao its Lenovo 1 n i also bot a canon all in 1 printer at a discounted price n also got a free 1 gig pen drive for the purchase. But since i took the NUS notebook loan must wait like 1 month to get the notebook n mean while got a lot of stuff to work out lor......
I tink i'll join the tech crew for temasek hall. I noe dat for international students we r guranteed 2 years stay lar but den i also wanna join in sum activities lor....cos im not like those super sporty type n i'll nvr make it to the 1st team of anything mar so join those bckstage crew may be a better choice. Den can always help out the rag team next time n join the next hall camp n stuff. Den ee wuen say wanna join the volunteering society thingy so maybe may join also leh.......my UC OGL also ask me to join Biz Com lor so haih dunno lar..........but den like im taking 6 modules for 1st sem leh so wanna really conc on studies for 1st sem....esp when 1st year is DARNNNNN impt cos level 1 modules is easiest to score n can really benefit ur CAP if u do well.....if not its very hard to pull up ur CAP wif level 3 n above modules in ur 3rd or 4th year liao. So though i wanna be active in activities im still gonna be focusing damn a lot on my studies lar....!
Ok dats all its super late n i onli get at most 3 hours of sleep ltr while theres a full day of flag day tmr.....we'll be at Bugis n maybe Lavender so if u too free come n find me n donate sum money hahahahahaha! :P
