Well well............loads of stuff to update leh............ermmm..........let me see...........
Ok firstly, went bck to Spore last Wed for sum work related stuff..........had an entire day to myself on Thursday so pretty much just lazed around at home.........den Friday was the BIG DAY cos it was time to collect results...........u CANNOT imagine just how freakin nervous i was........!!! But luckily me n Kah Sing met up earlier to buy Arvin's prezzie for his big surprise birthday party at HIS house (the irony huh..) so dat sort of mellowed my uneasiness quite a bit........Kah Sing eventually found a "perfect" gift for Arvin.........shit forgot to take a pic of it........ermmm its sort of like a cream thingy to "dehorny" dat bastard hahahahahahaha! :P
When we eventually arrived in sch, the hall was already PACKED!!!!!!!! And the principal was already announcing the names of those who did well..........since we came late we could only stare frm outside........n den suddenly ks told me bob msged him telling him he got 5 distinctions (and can u believe it he actually felt sad lar.......n just be4 dat he was telling me its impossible for him to get str8 A's........i could have murdered him there n den.........) so obviously the pressure was on me rite cos i din see my name appearing anywhere.........so basically i've decided dat i wud act as if everything was ok n just go in n collect my results......den i met sam n philip who told me they saw my name just now..........SOOOOOO now i was feeling TERRIBLY CONFUSED........emotions of all kinds running all over...........n just when i THOUGHT i could finally get my results, Mrs. Ho told me i have unpaid library fine n can only collect my results frm the office..........i nearly exploded there..........
After queuing up for almost 1 n a half hours at the library to pay a FUCKING S$0.10 FINE!!!???? I finally managed to make my way to the office n collect my results........my 1st impression was kinda like a slight disappoinment? Cos no matter how badly you think you have done for ur papers u will still be praying to get e best rite? So when i first saw a B i felt a lurch in my stomach, but lookin on further i felt dat i shud be happy instead lor cos afterall the B was for Chem, a paper which i knew right away after i did it durin my A levels dat i screwed up badly.....i was really thankful for the A for Physics cos i tot i screwed dat up equally.......and i actually still managed to squeeze out a Merit for my Physics S........so ya after thinkin abt it i'm thankful for the results i got........learning to be satisfied with wat i have has been a lesson well learned frm the 2 years i spent in TJ..........especially when i noe i did put in a lot of effort as well as the fact dat i noe wat went wrong n how to improve it..........so ya thankful! :)
Basically tis is how a result slip looks like in spore............i tink it looks quite similar to ours in msia........just dat for us we dun have any colour lar just purely white...........it's meant to be small so dun try to decipher wat it says........basically i got 3 A, B for chem, A2 for GP n merit for Physics S........My subjects are Maths, Physics, Chem, Econs and Physics S.....plus General Paper lor which is compulsory for everyone...

Oh by the way Yon Jan did veri well.......he got str8 A's (same subjects as me) plus 2 Distinctions for both his S papers (i dunno wat he took.....) n B3 for GP.....! Rmb to congrats him!!! :)
Well, after we took our results we went out to eat at Marina.......den caught a movie......Protege!! I tot it was gonna be good but IT WAS EVEN BETTER!!! Seriously the movie really gave most of us quite a shock! Every little detail n nuance was covered rather well n the way they build up the atmosphere for sum scenes was just enjoyable albeit scary hahaha! Really like the girl...i tink her name's Zhang Jing Chu.......she looks a bit like the gal in the drama Bai Se Ju Ta...or literally translated as White Towers...e one with Jerry Yan.......a bit like her lar but i dunno whether they are the same person or not.........She's veri pretty when she's not in any drug scenes! :)
As the movie ended quite late.....I MISSED MY MRT!!!!!!!!!!! Had to cab home lar.......at least Arvin shared the cab wif me.......by the time i reached woodlands the cab fare was S$ 28.90!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its like FREAKIN 30 DOLLARS LAR!!!!!!!!! Dats e last time i'm catching a movie dat ends late man.......seriously..........
Nth on Sat........so let's fast forward to Sunday.........went to Arvin's house to prepare for his surprise birthday party.........gonna skip e details lar hahaha but basically had fun! Oh ya n Matt's potato salad RAWKS MY WORLD!!!!!!!!!! It was sooooooooooooo good lar......!!
Went to NUS wif Mei Mei today (Menny lar...) cos both of us din receive e letters wif the pin number thingy so cannot do online registration.......we stopped at the wrong stop (cos i was standing up so can't really see the outside n mei mei din noe where to stop either) n had to climb dunno how many freakin flight of steps to finally get to the office........!!!!!!! I'm telling you I WILL SLIM DOWN if i really need to do dat everyday in NUS...........
Realised dat our letters were sent to old addresses (mine was to my hostel......dumb.......) so had to let them process a new one for us there n then.......left n came bck to JB..........
And dat's pretty much all abt it...........
Gonna be busy these few days wif all e application i tink..........n tmr there's an edu fair (dunno where....nd to ask my mum again ltr....) for uni in Aus.......shud be applyin there bah since tmr no nd registration fee haha! :P
Oh ya congrats to everyone who did great!!! For those who are not satisfied wif ur results dun worry! Take tis as an opportunity to find out was wrong n go all out when u're in uni!! All the best to STPMers too! Heard it's coming out on the 13th rite?
