Okie was out of action frm blogging these few days cos my com broke down.......... I cant rmb how many times we have had to send our com for repair n had the entire hard disk reformatted so all my songs n pics n files n just abt any other stuff...........GONE..............
Haih summore now im told there's no cd rom in it.............i dun even noe wat dat is n wats it for.......im such a noob when it comes to computing stuff..............
Haven been feeling well these few days................felt like i was coming down wif a fever cos had all the symptoms for it but i seriously am not in the mood to be sick...........cos of a few reasons.......mum went for operation on her left eye cos of cataract....den im goin in on friday....so nows really not the best time to fall sick............quickly rehydrated by downing loads of fluid as well as taking vitamin c............well it kinda help, especially after u sleep on it........
Caught harry potter 5 wif kee the other day n it was pretty good! Felt dat the flow cud have been smoother in sum parts cos the story just sort of like jumped frm here to there so suddenly.....n they definitely cud use wif sum betta acting too........cos i really tink daniel radcliff can do betta wif his acting......it left us audiences wanting.......he really needs to step up on it......
Finished Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows within 2 days though i cud have easilly done it in 1.....probably cos i wanted it to last.....especially when it was so freaking delicious! I really really tink the book was fantastic.........action, emotion n flow was done superbly!
Dunno whether the harry potter fiasco reached spore or not........but apparently the 4 main book stores in msia - Popular, MPH, Harris and Times - refused to sell the book to walk-in customers.....onli those who have pre-ordered will be given the book.....but they can also choose to take bck their deposit instead...........sounds wierd? Lol cos apparently Carrefore n Tesco were selling them for RM69.90 while books at all book stores were selling them for RM109.90 Seems like a ridiculous price isnt it but wat the heck i've already pre-ordered mine frm MPH n wasnt just abt to drive all the way to Carrefore to get a cheaper one though i am fully aware that it will take hours be4 they r all sold out at these hypermarkets since they onli released the news of their RM40.00-less-harry-potter-book a day be4 the launch of the book.....pretty despicable huh when u consider that these bookstores onli get to make a decent profit frm their store when such big sellers come by once in a blue moon........i just dun understand why they cant let these ppl sell their books in peace........for fuck's sake u're a hypermarket lar..........go sell ur veg n cereal lar haiyo................
Anyway as the tradition goes u always get such freebies when u pre-order n MPH gave a harry potter mug while popular gave a shirt..........dun mind either but hey that mug cost me RM40.00 if u tink abt it can..............not dat im complaining.....we shud support the bookstores though i must admit its pretty stupid of them to use such a tactic to protest - that being their refusal to sell the book to walk-in customers (partly also becos they wanted to send a msg to the consumers that their seemingly high price wasnt aimed at making a profit out of them).............apparently Borders didn't join in the fun but sold their books at a 20% discount and they managed to clear every single book by the end of the day.......smart tactic to cut losses n even make sum profit while distancing themselves away frm the fiasco.........though i guess the rest of the bookstores may just label them as playing Judas......well when money is in the question n since its business we're talking abt, i guess there's not much ground to argue bah............
Cleared out all my books n placed them neatly on my book shelves in my room......n im just so happy to look at all those books i have.........book freak......ya that i am..........but at the same time i realised there's just so many books left unread.....though they're not exactly my fault cos most of them were old old books previously owned by my mum........i tink even she hasnt touched sum of those books there........mostly by Robert Ludlum n John Grisham.......but since they're both #1 selling authors i just have to give sum of their books my extremely limited time.........at the mean time i found a book which on the surface didnt really "arouse" me much but when the 1st few pages have been flipped, I WAS HOOKED. The title shud be extremely familiar to most though i dun tink most of us have caught the movie be4.........the movie (and the book be4 it) had been extreme successes and it starred sum big names....1 such as Al Pacino.........i always tot he was the one acting as the Godfather but apparently i was wrong....it was another more veteren actor whose name i cant recall..........ok so the book is The Godfather.......all abt the mafia families in New York n im telling you THE BOOK IS BRILLIANT! Go look it up u will definiely get hooked! Mine is an extremely fragile n battered book probably becos it was passed dwn frm the previous generation but its still readable.........sum plactic cover over it will preserve it for years to come........
Im still not in the pink of health yet.......gotta put more time into sleeping........dunno why but sleeping does help a lot when u're not feeling well.........
Not exactly looking forward to friday..........unless of course they give me a single room......i noe i keep whining abt dat but wat the heck................
