So...............new news...........doesn;t necessarily mean good news but its still wayyyyyy betta than no news............turns out dat for my ddp, the modules i'll be taking will be slightly different frm the normal civil eng student........ (who was it who asked me to just freaking refer to the civil timetable???!! ^%$$$&^*$##&%#**&^#%&*&&##@*&
So........now i only have to take up 4 eng modules plus 1 econs module for my 1st sem.......MA1505, PC1431, EG1109, CS1101C, EC1101E...........actually these are just suggested modules lar so i assume we can always pick sth else if we really want to.........so altogether 5 modules, which is reasonable! FINALLY!
lus my french modules, dat makes 6! Still pretty manageable, as compared to 8 before this! Madness.........
But den.....the prob is they haven uploaded the timetable......so no way for me to coordinate my timings......but aneway the dateline for the LPP has passed so i cant change a thing aneway......just pray everything goes alright..........
The new 7 wonders of the world's out apparently! Ohhhhhh wait i tink it shud be 8.......cos must include the Pyramids of Giza..........well the rest of the wonders are the Great Wall of China (1st position summore hahahaha), Petra in Jordan, Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil, Machu Pichu in Peru (my fav!!!!), Chichen Itza in Mexico (nvr heard of it be4 prior to this actually), Colosseum in Italy and last but not least, the Taj Mahal in India (i cant imagine the Taj not making it into the list lar....)!
But kinda pity cos i tot the Sydney Opera House wud have made it into the list 2.......was kinda rooting for Angkor Wat as well........but well there's onli those few positions.........
Have you ever wondered wat the ORIGINAL seven wonder of the world really are? Cos i never really knew the whole list.............and i always tot that the Sydney Opera House belongs to the original list when it turned out to be the youngest contender among all the rest.........Well, for the original ones, theres:
Great Pyramids of Giza
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus
Colossus of Rhodes
Lighthouse of Alexandria
The onli reason why the Pyramids were made honourary member of the list (they were kinda "seeded" haha meaning they were already in the list be4 the polls were done cos the Egyptian officials were indignant at the fact that they had to contend wif the rest of the list when they already belong to the original list........talk about high n mighy......) was because they remain to be the only surviving wonder int he original list......the rest have all been destroyed.......so onli the ruins remain.........
