YAY!!!!!!!!!!! So happy hahahahahaha! :) All our hardwork and midnite efforts have paid off seriously man! We won the "Best Dressed Table" for D&D!!!!!!!! :)
Actually initially we reallu din expect much frm our costumes.......we were just trying to figure out sth to do to get the whole costume issue over wif so we can attend D&D........so we finally decided on the theme of "Du Shen" or "Gambling King"......the one wif Chow Yun Fatt. So 1 guy will be the gambling king and a gal will be the queen lol. The rest of us will then be poker cards and mahjong tiles instead. We made use of the left-over cardboards frm Rag to construct box-like figures n painted the front part as poker cards wif a hole to accomodate our faces n the bck part as mahjong tiles. Den we also bot face paint to paint our faces accordingly.....i was black lar haha cos i was 10 of spades den my face was situated at the big spades......we really din expect to be so involved wif the costumes that it took us 3 nites to finish everything......but since we were doing it at the gym loads of seniors who walked by saw us hard at work in the middle of the nite n tot we were super enthu hahahaha! But ultimately its also thanx to all of the ALKA dudes n gals who were so enthu that made all of these possible!!! Oh ya n a big thanx to Kai Ting also cos even though she's not frm ALKA (she's a year 4 actually) she's super sporting lor!!! :)
It's a really nice feeling to win sth as an OG lor cos its just so fun n u're so proud of everyone involved! ALKA rawks!!!!! :)
