Well well well.......this time round i finally had a slightly different new year's eve. Initially was to get a haircut with xin hui at far east but cos we din make appointment n the salon was pretty busy so we decided to postpone it instead. Den went walking around aimlessly while buying sum stuff that i wanted to buy. Finally met up with Chris (he was super late) and had dinner at Pasta Cafe at Taka before we headed towards cineleisure for AVP2 (Alien vs Predator 2). I din watch the 1st one cos normally dun watch dat kind of gory movies anyway lol but the movie was not bad. Xin hui said the 1st was better cos had more fighting scenes btw the predator n alien. To me it was quite the same lar.
We cudn't decide on what to do after the movie but xin hui said she doesn't want to stay in orchard cos will have a lot of banglahs ltr during the countdown HAHAHAHA so we walked towards cityhall instead. Finally decided to go towards Lao Pa Sat n waited at the bridge for the fireworks. The crowd was pure madness lar soooooooo many ppl gathered EVERYWHERE just to watch the fireworks. After much waiting n perspiration it was finally 12am and to say the truth the fireworks were quite good and it lasted for abt 10 minutes too so the wait was still worth it. After that.........pure mayhem. Cos the pathways were all barricaded and there were a lot of shouting n jeering n complaints cos the police weren't letting the crowd cross the road blah blah blah. Finally after another round of waiting we got to move our legs n we headed twds Lao Pa Sat. But then so did another 13824509328543752934 ppl. Gave up n sat dwn on a flight of stairs near the foodcourt n just relak there. Took a taxi wanting to get out of dat place just to end up at Lao Pa Sat again (cos the roads were blocked) and we ended up paying 8 bucks for getting nowhere. Tell me abt stupidity dude. It even beats the time we spent S$2.50 just to get frm hall to MPSH for our mid-term maths paper. We finally decided to give Lao Pa Sat a try n went there for a drink n sum late nite (or early morning) supper. Asked xin hui for her cam to look at the pics n she realised she lost it! Hahaha my goodness wad a freaking new year's day......!
When i finally got bck to hall it was like 4 or 5 am in the morning.......lol was so freaking tired by dat time.
Anyway its still a memorable new year's eve tis time round. Kinda like it too. Just hanging out wif frens. :)
But still wanna go on a hol trip leh. With frens or family. Both will do fine. But i just wish i can go on a hol trip. Can we like organise sth after sem2.................
Loads of nice music lately. Dats one of the few things that i get by with day after day. Other than dat im depressed hahaha.
