2nd Japanese buffet at the SAME restaurant within 3 days hahaha..........tok about saving money......i tink at tis rate i'll go bankrupt even before the holidays kick in........but heck with the company i'm getting, who's complaining........?
It was a last minute affair frankly..........cos i dun even rmb about the dinner thingy until i this afternoon when i was randomly going thru my smses and saw the msg i got ytd nite........wasn't sure wad we were gonna eat but cos they wanted jap buffet but i didn't want kuishimbo cos ex and not veri good so in the end went bck to the same place kah sing brought me just last saturday. And since it was near City Hall and thus SMU we were wondering whether Menny would be in school and lo and behold she was!!!!!!! So all 4 of us happily went to Hanabi Japanese Restaurant and Sake Bar AGAIN (for me) for a delicious and overly satisfying dinner.
And after that, someone suggested we go to the top floor of Odeon Towers and there it was, a nice little rooftop bar called Loof (i tink....) Nice place, cool atmosphere...........ordered a few drinks and as usual cos i dun drink we ended up ordering sum veri veri light cocktails......mine was this thing called Gummy Berry or sth liddat and even though i really didn't like the alcohol taste (even though it was very very VERY light already......) the drink was pretty awesome, especially that layer of thick cheesy cream on top!
Craving for ice cream after that so we went to Raffles City and ended up at Ben n Jerry's for ice cream supper............all in all it was a perfect meal for the day............great company, lots of laughter and goofing around, reminiscing the past, enjoying not 1 but 3 good meals at different locations, and best of all, transport back to my hall..............what more can a friend ask for.......?
