Ahhhhhhhhhh.................finally i'm willing to pick up my guitar and strum the strings..........even though i tink most of the strings are like freaking out of tune liao..........and since i'm really not good at tuning plus i dun have a tuner (they cost a bomb), i just have to make do with whatever sound that's coming out of it............
I really have forgotten all that i've learnt..........so no choice have to start from scratch.........as in basic chords and notes i still remember lar...........but really ar i can't play no songs...........so i went searching for simple songs for "beginners" like me............and i found one that most people label as a song suitable for guitar beginners..........the title of the song is "Horse With No Name" by America. Doesn't ring a bell...? Well go youtube and listen to the song........i tink most of us would have heard of the song before.......it's a very very familiar song to me cos when we're in the car my parents normally listen to stations that play old classical songs..sth like class 95 fm or gold 90.5fm..........things liddat lar...........and this song is fairly common.........but i must say it's one of those few classic old songs which i like.........cos it's very simple but unique........you dun find many of such songs nowadays..........
Plus there's only like 2 chords for the ENTIRE song so freaking easy to play...........actually u'll find mostly 2 versions of the tabs, one that has only 2 chords (Em and D 6/9) and the other with 4 chords (Em, Em9, D 6/9, Dmaj9) but all sounds similar and the chords are all easy chords.......all on the 2nd fret anyway.
Nice song.............i wanna learn to play "Your Body Is A Wonderland" by John Mayer but the chords very hard to press hahaha.........so one step at a time bah..........
And actually it's getting easier and easier to learn how to play different instruments.......i mean there's tutorials everywhere on the internet.........plus you most probably will be able to find sum video tutorials on youtube for that particular song you want to learn..........so you got both the written instruction plus visual aid.............makes it so much more easier........!
