Photoshop is such a frustrating and yet mesmerizing tool...................
I think it took me more than 24 hours in total to get all these done as part of our assignments for learning photoshop on Tuesday............. The Indiana Jones parody took me 3 hours alone........so did the Uniquely Singapore one, which in fact was a picture of the esplanade area taken at NIGHT..........i changed the sky to another picture and made it look like vintage clouds, then because of that i had to change the sea to a similar colour too.........
I like the Pimp My Ride pic cos it took me the least time even though i could have done more on it by improving on the words but heck I was damn tired liao..........
Tweety bird was a joke, in both sense............ And the Lau Pa Sat thingy i did it at 3.30am in the morning so i didn't bother to improve it..........
The Alka group pic i simply cropped it out and replaced the background while adding in sum outer glow and shadows............
Sky pic was actually a day scene..........changed it to vintage clouds effect according to the tutorial..........
I like the eye reflection pics too but it's a bit hard to fit in the stupid merlion perfectly so i did 2 versions, one on the right and the other on the left........ But i hope ppl can actually see that it's a merlion reflected............
Overall, my conclusion is that there is simply TOO MANY controls, buttons and functions in the damn software to be known, learned and used within 3 to 4 days...........plus i didn't want to come up with anything just for the sake of completing the the amount required.........but i'm still pleased with them lar 1st time trying mar.............I tink i'll use photoshop more often next time.......! :)
