Ahhhhhhhh..........the annual Night-Cycling event..........well i guess I am getting old.....cos i hardly remembered the hardship I went through last year when I signed up for the same event........
This year's trip down memory lane through the same event certainly brought back those memories.............
Albeit the bad ones............... o.O
My ass hurts whenever I sit on the bike.....i had to constantly shift my left and right buttock cheek to be seated on the chair of the bike to reduce the pain....... My legs ache so badly half the time I was in pure-momentum mode - I let the momentum of the pedals guide my legs up and down the peddles................
I have no idea whether I'm still fully a man after that almost 8 hours worth of torture......possibly I've gone from the size of a chicken's egg to that of a quail..........it's hard on the guys this event....
Well, I have no idea just what made me sign up for this year's event........ya the route is different......the places we have supper has also been changed.......the shirt went from being Sheares back to plain old Temasek white......and I'm going with a whole bunch of friends.......
BUT STILL...............
Maybe it's all worth it in the end......especially when the jetty comes into sight......or when you witness one whole plate of chicken wings served to your table.........or when you have fun playing games and chatting to your friends on the way..........
Regardless of all that, one thing's for sure..........my entire body aches for a nice long rest........
