Finally moved back, and as usual it was hell to pack up and move everything from a room I've been staying for about a year back home.
Well, home doesn't REALLY feel like home....but only because I spend so little time there. And probably because we moved as well. We moved when I was about to enter Year 1, so during the A Lvls holidays it was always Jogging/Swimming --> Breakfast (always somewhere near Kolam Air so we can stop by and check out the construction of the new house) --> Slacking at home --> Lunch (again, probably somewhere near the new house cos dad likes to stop by and check things out) --> More slacking --> Dad finishes work and stops by the new house for the last time of the day before coming home and then we have dinner.
So ya....I din really get to spend a lot of time in the new house... During construction, yes; when it's completed, not really.... The irony huh..? Well, I have been staying in the old house for almost 20 years, so you can't blame me if I dun feel the same way when I call the new house "Home".
Anyway, mum has unpacked my clothes for me....but all my other stuff are still "neatly" packed in their luggages....... So far, the only things I've unpacked are my speakers, table fan and laptop.....
I dun really noe wad it's gonna be like spending 3 months doing nothing at home, but I guess I'll find out soon lol.... It's not like I dun wanna find work....doing part-time jobs in JB don't really interest me since I dun even feel like working part-time in Spore, and dat's when I'll be paid in Sing dollars dude! I mean, I'll be leaving for my exchange next year, so I probably wun be back veri soon in the holidays, and I plan to do my VIP then as well, so my 3 month hols will be gone when I'm in Year 3....after dat, it's gonna be Year 4 and poof!!! I have to be out in the working world after that.....I wun get the chance to spend as much time I'm spending rite nw at home...
Well, I do have a few things I wann accomplish while at home.... First and foremost, I bloody need to lose sum pounds....or tonnes.....I got my haircut already, cos my dad INSISTED.....and for once it's short and not really dat ugly lol.....I wanna brush up on my french again but realised I left my french notes and books in Mag's room haih...ermmm....I wanna remove my wisdon tooth but I'm not really looking fwd to it, dat's y i haven brought up the topic wif my parents yet....
I wanted to go on holidays, but now dat i'm home, i'm contented to jus stay indoors and go abt life without any worries of deadlines and grades....but I mus admit, I'm REALLY worried with my results tis semester....cos I dun think I did well, and more importantly, I have no idea whether or not I passed the criterie for the scholarship last sem...cos if I didn't and I dun get at least 3.5 tis sem, I'm gonna be so dead....I dun even wanna think about it rite nw...It's just....unthinkable.....
Watched 2 movies so far.... Star Trek was good even tho I was never a fan of the series and haven no idea who all those characters were.... Angels and Demons were a tonne better than Da Vinci Code but still, it felt pretty flat to me..... My frens enjoyed it but I felt it was only ok.... Maybe cos I've already read the book? The only surprises I get frm the movie are the parts which they altered, and trust me they altered quite a bit. But as a movie, it really didn't get to me.
Looking oh so forward to Transformers 2, Nite at the Museum 2 and of course, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince :)
In need of new books....I've been re-reading so many of my old ones. Not that they're nt good. In fact, I get a huge kick when I re-read them cos they're just so good....!!! But I kinda need new ones 2.... Can't wait for the last book from the Wheel of Time series to be out!!! I CAN'T WAIT OMG I LURVE ROBERT JORDAN!!!
